The 2024 Forte offers two 4-cylinder options: a 2.0-liter with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, or an available 1.6-liter turbocharged engine putting out 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. The base engine prioritizes fuel efficiency over performance, with a rating of up to 41 mpg on the highway. The turbo engine delivers an energetic boost in power reserved for the top GT and GT Manual trims.
Multiple Trim Levels
The Forte comes in five trim levels: the LX, LXS, GT-Line, GT, and GT Manual. The base LX offers standard infotainment features, two front USB ports, and Kia Drive Wise safety features. Moving up, the LXS adds a few more comfort and safety features for a slightly higher cost.
