“ Purchasing a vehicle is a big decision with so many choices out there. What we thought we wanted turned out to be a disappointment, which led us to consider again a used vehicle from another manufacturer. It impressed so much, we wanted to see more from this company and went on to KIA of Abilene. “ Came in for an oil change. I heard Robert Saltus. say the price for a 6 cylinder. I was thinking it was a 4 cylinder but thought I could be wrong, so did not question it. Later on, during the service he came to me and said he was mistaken and gave me the price of a 4 cylinder. He could have easily charged us the larger price but chose to be honest. I will be back for this reason plus the great service. Nothing like a dealership personal being honest when no one is watching. “ I’ve visited this service department three times now with my Sportage, and while the representatives at the service desk podiums are consistently nice and deserve five stars for their attitude, the overall experience has been disappointing. There seems to have been a restructure lately that just isn't working, as the level of service has definitely slipped since 2023. ​The communication is very poor compared to other Kia locations that provide updates every hour; here, I’m often left in the dark. I was also never offered a courtesy ride or told when to return for my next maintenance. Most frustratingly, a manager told me they wouldn't be responsible for any damages if they washed my car. It is original Kia matte paint, so I would expect the dealership to be the one place that knows how to handle it properly. The people at the desks are great, but the management and the current process really need to improve. ”
